Indian stock markets have set a new record with the opening of the market today. At 9.26 am, the Sensex was up 348 points at 62,113. While the Nifty is trading at 18581, up 104 points.

Larsen, Bajaj Finserv, HCL Tech up gains Shares of Larsen, Bajaj Finserv, HCL Tech, Bharti Airtel, Tech Mahindra are up on the Sensex. Larsen is trading up 3.22 percent at 1845.65. However, stocks including ITC, Ultratech Cement, Power Grid Corp, Titan Company, Nestle are witnessing declines. ITC is trading at 255.40, down 2.69 per cent. Ultratech Cement is trading down 0.77 per cent at 7340.50.The total market cap of companies listed on the BSE crossed 276 lakh crore for the first time
with 2526 shares traded on the BSE. Of these, 1713 shares traded higher and 701 shares traded red. At the same time, the total market cap of BSE-listed companies has crossed Rs 276 lakh crore for the first time. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought Rs 512.44 crore on Thursday, October 14. Domestic institutional investors, on the other hand, have withdrawn Rs 1,703.87 crore from the market.
